Contraceptive services

Contraception in Bradford and Airedale is available in a number of places so that you can have a choice of where to go. Listed below are some of the most useful services.

All contraceptive services are FREE and confidential.

Bradford and Airedale Contraception and Sexual Health (CaSH) service offers a full range of free contraception and advice to meet your needs. Sessions are available with or without appointment and in a variety of different locations across the district.

These services may also be available at your own GP practice.

All GPs can give contraceptive advice; simply make an appointment with your GP or practice nurse. Many GP practices also have a doctor or nurse who are able to offer more specialised contraceptive services including fitting and removing contraceptive implants (Implanon) and fitting and removing copper and ‘hormone’ coils (Mirena).
